Accepted!

Hey everyone!

It’s with SO much excitement that I can finally officially announce that I’ve been accepted into the University of Mississippi for the Fall 2019 semester! I’m going to be an Ole Miss Rebel! What has been a lengthy process (with heaps more to do until I get to leave) from October 2017 when I first started researching Deakin’s Study Abroad program, until most recently being formally accepted by the University of Mississippi on the 16th of March, I finally get to say that I definitely know where I’m spending my semester on exchange!

This blog will serve to keep family, friends and any other interested people in the loop regarding everything to do with my exchange, from right now, through the rest of my pre-departure activities, and eventually everything that I get up to while I’m living the dream for 6 months. I’ll also use it as a personal diary of sorts for any future use and to look back on. Also, I hope it might also provide others thinking of going on exchange or another type of overseas program with some inspiration and motivation to get the ball rolling, and also educate them about the kind of things involved in the entire process (which I’ll talk about in future posts).
